This is a bit tricky. You have a couple options, you can use the Pantone Color Matching System book with PMS, RGB and CMYK color values in it or get actual samples or a book from Benjamin Moore Color Library that are closest to what you are trying to match and compare visually. If you search online, you can find a color converter that will translate your CMYK or RGB to the closest Pantone. Do you have a color profile I can use? Yes we do! Even if your monitor and/or environment aren’t calibrated as described above, you can still download and use our CMYK profile to convert your RGB images to CMYK, or convert existing CMYK images to our profile.

You’re right that all of your images can be converted to CMYK while exporting to PDF (by choosing a CMYK color profile in the Output section of the Export to PDF dialog box). In Illustrator, U, C, and M look exactly the same and have the same CMYK percentages applied to them. The only way to truly tell the difference between these colors is to look at an actual PANTONE swatch book. PANTONE swatch books (printed samples of ink) come in uncoated, coated, and matte finishes.

This book opens up so many great CMYK color build options. I agree with other reviews that some sort of index or other organizational tool would be useful, but once you get used to how it is laid out the book works just fine the way it is.
I would reccomend this book for all graphic designers looking to have more CMYK color options/5(51). In all cases, the CMYK recipes are written below each color and that gives you already a CMYK color book start even if you need to adjust the color slightly.
